Emergency Management is excited to announce SAFE, an emergency preparedness academy for our community that will meet twice a month at our facility on East 12th Street from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Registration is free and includes courses taught by EMA staff and our local emergency response teams, including AdventHealth Redmond and Atrium Health Floyd EMS and Rome Fire Department.
The courses being taught are designed to help everyone in the community. Emergencies have no schedule, and when seconds count we fall back on training.
