The City of Rome Purchasing Department invites local businesses to a "Meet the City Buyers Breakfast" on Friday, March 24, 2023 in the Sam King Room at Rome City Hall. Businesses who are interested in becoming vendors and learning about upcoming bid opportunities are invited to drop-in anytime between 7 am and 9 am. Businesses will have the opportunity to meet all the city buyers, ask questions and learn about the types of services and products that the city buys.
 
 "We want to work with our local businesses and make it easy for them to work with us", said City Purchasing Director Becky Smyth. Purchasing staff will also be on hand to help businesses register for bid alerts and get entered into the city's bid notification system.
